They say if you can remember the '60s, you weren't there, which is a good enough reason to see Hair. It's a celebration of loife, set to one of the greatest rock scores ever written. We follow Claude as he leaves the farm in Oklahoma and heads to New York City. He has two days to see the sights before reporting for military duty. A band of free-wheeling hippies takes him in hand and shows him a good time. Rated R (contains profanity, references to drug use and partial nudity). Movin' Out Thursday, May 1 - 7:30 p.m. Billy Joel, Twyla Tharp on Broadway Conceived by celebrated choreographer Twyla Tharp, Movin' Out is the story of a group of friends growing up on Long Island during the 1960s. Drawn from the characters made familiar in Joel's multitude of pop hits, this blockbuster musical follows a group of friends through high school, into Vietnam and through the drama of their post-war lives. Joel's well-known music is performed by a pianist and band suspended on a platform above the stage while the rock ballet unfolds below.
